Cornelian Maternity and Rural Healthcare Centre began in April 2010 as a response to the healthcare needs of the Gidan Mangoro community and its surroundings. Before the centre was established, many people received treatment at Loyola Jesuit College. As the school community grew, the Sisters worked with local leaders to build a dedicated clinic to serve the wider population. The project began with a 4-bed facility, seven staff members, and a pharmacy unit. Over the years, it expanded to 20 beds with a theatre, ultra-labour room, and strengthened services, while continuing to serve families with compassion and care.
